  1. Links to Third Party Websites

The Websites may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by Carter. We provide those links solely as a convenience to you, and the inclusion of any link on the Websites does not imply that Carter endorses the contents of the linked website. If you provide personal information through such a third party website, your transaction will take place on that third party’s website (not the Websites). The personal data you provide will be collected by that third party and subject to its privacy statement. We are not responsible for the way in which third parties process your personal data. We strongly recommend that you take note of the privacy statements of those websites.

Carter’s Websites are not directed to anyone under the age of sixteen (16). We therefore request that children do not provide us with personal data. If you – as a legal representative – become aware that your child has provided personal data to Carter without your consent (for example by providing an incorrect age), please contact us at tonyworgan@carterentertainmentgroup.com.

If Carter determines that it has stored personal data of a child under the age of 16 without the consent of their legal guardian, Carter will delete that information immediately.

  1. Your rights and their exercise

You have the following rights which you can exercise at any time:

    • You can request us to view your personal data.
    • You can request us to correct your personal data. We will comply with this request if the personal data we process about you is incorrect or incomplete, taking into account the purposes of the data processing.
    • You can object to further processing by us for reasons related to your particular situation. You only have this right if we process your personal data on the basis of ‘legitimate interest’. We will comply with this request unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or which are related to the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
    • You can object to the processing of your personal data for ‘direct marketing’ purposes. If you exercise this right, we will comply and no longer process your personal data for ‘direct marketing’ purposes.
    • You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. We will comply with this request if:
      • you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for the period that we need to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
      • we unlawfully process your personal data, but you do not want us to delete your data;
      • we no longer need your personal data for our processing purposes, but you need the data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or

      • we no longer need the data for the purposes of the processing;
      • you withdraw your consent (only applicable if we process your personal data on the basis of your consent);
      • you object to the processing of your personal data and there are no compelling legitimate grounds that prevent us from having to delete the data;
      • we have unlawfully processed your personal data; or
      • we need to erase the data to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject under the laws of the United Kingdom.
    • You can ask us to provide you with a copy of the personal data we process about you or ask us to provide this data to a third party. You only have this right insofar as it concerns personal data that you have provided to us yourself and that we process on the basis of your consent, or because these are necessary for the performance of an agreement between you and us, or your request to take steps before entering into a contract between you and us.

If we process your data on the legal basis of consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data based on your consent before its withdrawal.

  1. The transfer of your personal data

We share your personal data as follows:

    • We share your data within the Carter group. To the extent that we share your personal data within the Carter group, we ensure that your personal data is given the same level of security within all Carter group companies.
    • We share your information with certain third parties or government authorities, to the extent that Carter is required to do so under applicable laws, regulations or government regulations, or if this is necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses or to protect or enforce our rights or interests. to make.
    • To the extent necessary for the performance of the Services, we share your information with third-party service providers acting on instructions from and under the responsibility of Carter. Such external service providers are referred to as ‘processors’. We share your data with the following categories of processors:
      • agencies;
      • advertising platforms;
      • providers of marketing and communication services; and
      • Promoters of our shows.

In such cases, your personal data will remain under the control of Carter. These third-party service providers are always subject to Carter’s written instructions, including certain security obligations.

We have chosen not to list the names of our third-party service providers. This is because we are a large, global company that works with a large number of third-party service providers, varying by country. The inclusion of all these service providers in this Privacy Statement does not contribute to its clarity. We also regularly change suppliers. It would therefore be a major administrative burden for us to maintain an exhaustive list of external service providers. We should notify you whenever we add or remove a recipient. We believe this is inconvenient for you.

We do not store your personal data outside the UK and do not transfer it to parties outside the UK.

  1. Complaints

If you have any complaints about the way in which Carter processes your personal data or if you would like to respond to this Privacy Statement, please contact us at tonyworgan@carterentertainmentgroup.com. Your complaint/response will be investigated and you will receive a response within one month of the completion of the investigation (but we may extend this period by two months), together with information on any follow-up action required in response to your complaint.

In addition, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a UK supervisory authority about the way in which Carter processes your personal data.
